chapter one | video | day 93
[ The feed turns on to display a particularly worried-looking blonde woman, frowning more like an annoyed mother than anything. ]
You know, I'm getting major All Hell Breaks Loose flashbacks right now. Waking up in a creepy abandoned town with a bunch of people I presumably don't know? Yeah. I have a feeling this won't end well. I mean, unless the Winchesters are here by some off chance. And then...
Well, honestly, things might end worse. As much as I love them — [ she sighs wistfully, smiling to herself at the thought of her boys, then quickly returns to a slightly more concerned expression ] — they aren't exactly the best good luck charms. Even when they had a good luck charm.
[ She leans in closer, holding her hand at the side of her mouth, lowering her voice as if she's admitting a secret, though she looks particularly excited to be sharing this not-so-secret. ]
One of my favorites, by the way, Bad Day at Black Rock.
[ And then the big thing occurs to her and she frowns again. ]
I just hope there aren't demons involved. Sam didn't exactly let me keep the demon slaying knife as a souvenir for ganking my first black-eyed SOB. All he gave me was a big fat annulment and a broken heart...
[ She sighs, resigned. Nothing she can do about that now, and there's not really any point in making a big deal out of her predicament here. It's not like she has anyone back home who will miss her. Except maybe her Twitter followers. But even then... She shrugs, then offers something resembling a smile. ]
Well, at least I still have my journal. Maybe now I can get to work on that fanfic I've been meaning to write...

As far as I know, there aren't demons involved. I'd welcome you, but I don't think most people want to be welcomed when they arrive here.
Video
Well, if there aren't demons involved, you might as well welcome me. I'm not exactly "most people," anyway.

[How many women did they meet after she died? Wait she doesn't want to know that.]

[Yes, out of everything Becky just said? That's what sticks, at least at first. The mention of the books doesn't catch her off-guard, at least -- she's talked to Charlie about them, and Dean himself has mentioned them once or twice. Disdainfully as possible, of course.]
So not only do you know the Winchesters-- [And lately, who here doesn't?] --but you married Sam?
[She raises an eyebrow. Nobody mentioned that. Apparently, a hell of a lot happened after she kicked it.]
When the hell did that happen?
Oh. You know... we met in Vegas and were really drunk, and you know what happens in Vegas. Bam! Married.
But, you know, he's a Winchester, and if you know the Winchesters, you know they don't exactly do that whole domestic thing very well — at least not when both of them are around — so... Yeah! That's how I married Sam. Accidentally. By accident.
[ And not at all by drugging him with love potion. Nope. ]

Oh my God — you're Castiel! I'd know that trenchcoat anywhere. You raised Dean from perdition in Lazarus Rising, you left that handmark on his shoulder, you —
[ And after a slight moment of awe, because it isn't every day you meet an angel in the flesh, something like burning jealousy flashes across her face. No, it's best she doesn't mention shipping here, she's learned people tend not to take well to her bringing up fandom stuff. Changing the subject! ]

Video; by use of movie magic, I'm saying this takes place after Chuck's post.
[ If he's being completely honest - and he is, most of the time - he didn't ever expect to see Becky in Kore. Not that it's a bad thing, of course, or that he thinks she can't handle it, because that's not it at all! It's just...
He disappeared. And it was with the intentions of being gone for good. He hadn't ever planned on seeing Dean or Castiel or anyone associated with the Winchesters ever again. Let alone the woman he broke up with for no other reason that the world was ending.
He clears his throat. ] So. I, uh-- [ Wait, no. There was something much more important that just hit Chuck in the face like a freight train, and his face falls. ]
...You married Sam?
Video; works for me!
Chuck? I —
[ thought you were dead. But he's... asking about Sam. Oh. Well. That face he's giving her certainly makes her feel worse about the whole thing. To be fair, though, he's the one who broke up with her, he can't blame her for... attempting to move on. In a really bad life decision kind of way, but still... ]
Um. Yeah. That... happened. Temporarily. We aren't... together anymore. I mean, it's over. I'm totally over it. It was stupid, anyway. You know, what happens in Vegas.
[ She'd rather not go into specifics. She'd rather talk about you. In fact, she's going to go into super Becky angry pout mode. ]
But that's not important. I thought you were dead. You broke up with me and then just... disappeared. Have you been here this whole time? Is that why I couldn't contact you?
Video; awesome! <3

[ Hi, Becky. Dean's really not amused or pleased or anything positive over seeing you again. ]
video
The smile she gives him is forced and a little bit terrified. Because, really, Dean is pretty damn intimidating when he's mad. Especially when it concerns his baby brother. ]
Oh. Dean. You're here... What a coincidence... I was just talking about you...
[ Not that she asked about you. Oops. ]

But, ah-- Demons aren't involved with any of us being here. [Though he's heard that there is actually one around...] They aren't to be worried about.
[Then there's a pause, and he's admittedly curious as he always is when people arrive and speak of Sam and Dean.]
...You mentioned knowing the Winchesters?
But if demons aren't involved, there's nothing to worry about. At least not about people being possessed or anything.
[ She's not so sure about anything else. But her life hasn't been immediately threatened, so she feels pretty okay considering the circumstances. ]
Anyway, I'm guessing you know them too? Sam and Dean? They sure do get around.
[Yeah, that's what she got out of all that.]

[ She seems far more excited by this prospect that maybe she should and completely disregard the whole "other worlds" thing. ]

[There is a pause.]
What exactly is fanfic?
no subject
Well, it's short for "fanfiction," which are fictional stories written by fans about, well, any media, really. Books, television, movies, video games; you name it, there's fanfiction for it. There's even real person fiction, or RPF, which is the same concept but... with real people. That's not really my cup of tea, though.
I mostly write for the Supernatural fandom, but I have delved into the Thoki fandom more recently... Brothers are kind of my thing.

So it's not until after some things come out that he responds. ]
Given you witnessed how the Winchesters feel about the books, you keep bringing them up?
[ Chuck. Really. ]
Might want to also keep in mind that the prophet is mine.
