[ Good evening, Kore! Amidst all of the new arrivals that have been showing up is a familiar face. Or, well, it would be a familiar face if he hadn't been missing for about three weeks.

Chuck Shurley is standing on the edge of town, looking completely baffled and confused. Like he'd just found himself there without knowing how or why, and so he just... stopped walking. He's tired and he's sore and honestly, he doesn't feel all that great. All he wants to do is crawl into bed and sleep for a few days. He rubs his forehead and he blinks down at the communicator at his wrist for a few seconds. ]

So I, uh... I think I was just kidnapped? By... the scientists?

[ And if he sounds unsure, it's only because he is. It's like trying to remember a dream he had years ago - everything's all fuzzy. ]

What? No. No, they didn't... I mean, I don't remember much. I don't know what's real and what I just made up, you know? It's all... fuzzy.

[ She makes a very good point, and Chuck nods in agreement. He just... didn't ever expect to be kidnapped by scientists. He didn't think that was ever a thing that could actually happen to him. ]

Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit... you know.

[ A bit off. Nothing a beer and some sleep won't fix. But he also feels a bit violated. Just a little. ]

[ It takes him a second to realize what she's asking, and when he does, he gives a small laugh, amused. ]

[While Chuck might be familiar to some, his face is entirely foreign to Jo -- it's his words that catch her attention, in fact, eagerly grabbing for her communicator to respond when she hears the word 'scientists'.]

Do you remember anything about what happened? Anything at all?

[Dean tasked her with gathering info, in so many words. She's going to do exactly that.]

However, having that extra notice doesn't make it it's any less awkward. After all, he watched her die. In a massive explosion. After being attacked by hellhounds. To death. Game over, insert coin.

But he's been in Kore long enough to know that, well, that's how things work here. People are taken from different times and after deaths so often that, in this reality, it's totally within the realm of normality. Not that it makes it any less strange.

He clears his throat before answering. ]
